The City of Spas

While we wait for a post about Budapest (cmon Hungarian exchangers, we are curious about your city! :D) here is a picture of one of the most famous baths of Budapest. I took this photo when I was at Széchenyi Thermal Bath last summer.



"Budapest is richly endowed with natural springs of thermal waters possessing various medicinal properties, and it's these that supply the city’s many thermal baths.

Not for nothing is it known as the City of Spas. "

Amazing place, Sofia - I too was there, but on a winter night with 2º air temperature and plenty of choices of water temperature - radical experience, right? Jumping into an open air swimming pool with 35º on cold open air - Even funnier if we add some snowing :D

I would like that some hungarian exchange partners wrote any posts because it is a little bit boring read always posts wrotten by the same people! Come on, contribute a little bit! Don't be shy! By the way sofia, I loved your post and I would like to have a experience like the one that teacher fernando had! Must be wonderful be half naked with 2 degrees :D

Hey, that's true that Széchenyi Spa is nice but there are more dozens of spas in Budapest, and some of them are much more fun:P but definiately this is the most famous... unfortunately, most spas close by november:(

My favourite Spa is called Lukács, which is a bit smaller and it's maybe here:
